Our history
Our company, Farosped, deals since many years with national / international transports, logistics and customs assistance.
Farosped was established in 1958 as Customs Agency with the name Agenzia Doganale Farotto, near the Milano-Farini Customs in the centre of Milan. In few years it has grown, developing his work also in the field of international road transports and overseas services.
It evolved until it became leader between forwarding societies in Lombardia.
Beginning from seventies, it is sucessful in this activity with own road services and with partners in the most important european areas like Germany, Belgium, England, Hollland, France, Austria, Spain and Switzerland, further per air and sea to/from the rest of the world.
Our company today
Today we have approx. 25 employees, a specialised and multilingual team, able to handle the wide range of services, from customs assistance to integrated logistics and domestic and international shipments, with multiple daily connections to and from the main European cities.
In the goods transit warehouses, occupying approx. 5000 square metres, approx. 300,000 kg are handled every day. We also have customs warehouses for the introduction and storage of various foreign status goods with suspension of payment of customs duties. The customs office, on the other hand, handles Intrastat activities on behalf of various customers.
Our strengths are experience, reliability, security and the specific skills acquired over the years. This allows us to offer all our customers a high quality and specialised service.
The company has grown in terms of facilities, technology and expertise specifically in relation to customer needs, becoming an international freight forwarder capable of always being able to offer customised and highly competitive solutions.
