The term Intrastat indicates all those control procedures for the processing of data and reports for statistical purposes related to the handling (sale and purchase) of goods and/or services between VAT entities in the European Community. At fixed deadlines (which can be monthly or quarterly) each entity that has traded goods and/or services with other entities belonging to Community countries must, in fact, fill in the Intrastat forms.
Intrastat transactions must therefore be electronically submitted by VAT entities to the Customs and Inland Revenue Agencies, in the case of transport/exchange of goods in Europe.
We personally take care of the compilation, signing and on-line submission to customs of the summary lists of intra-Community purchases and sale of goods within the deadlines prescribed by the regulations.
